Kentucky Dragon Boat Festival Practice Sign-up
Welcome to the Practice Sign-up page for the Kentucky Dragon Boat Festival. Each Registered and Paid Team is eligible for 1 FREE Festival Practice where your team will work with members of the Kentucky Thorough-Breasts Dragon Boat Racing Team to learn important skills to empower your team to do their best at the Kentucky Dragon Boat Festival. We recommend at least 10 people from your team attend the team practice
What to expect at your team’s 1 hour practice:
- Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to your scheduled practice time.
- The 1st 15 minutes of your practice will be on-land instruction / preparation and the last 35 minutes will be spent on the water.
- Local Team Practice times are available on the following days:
- Saturday Morning, August 23, 2025
- Tuesday Evening, August 26, 2025
- Thursday Evening, August 28, 2025
- Tuesday Evening, September 2, 2025
- Thursday Evening, September 4, 2025
- Friday Evening, September 5, 2025 -- Out Of Town Teams Only
- Out of Town Team Practice times are available on Friday evening 9/5/2025. Three (3) boats will be available for practices. Out of Town Teams MUST provide their own Drummer and Steersperson.
